[V8] need v8 ac compressor- dead or alive

The compressor clutch when not engaged simply idles via a large bearing that supports the clutch pulley. When the compressor clutch is operated, the compressor shaft is mechanically linked to the pulley. Yes the compressor gets lubricated by oil that flows through the input/output lines.
