[V8] Flashing cat light

Not a problem - the light is there to warn of an overheated catalytic converter. It could be something wrong in the fuel system causing the mixture to be rich and dump un-burned fuel into the cat. Most of the time it is just a bad ground, bad sensor, or bad control unit. If your fuel mileage is good don't worry about it, not worth the hassle. Pull the passenger carpet/plastic panel and remove the control unit from it's socket - if I remember correctly the light will just go out. Good luck.
