[V8] Audi tool 2084

Use the torque of your starter motor. A socket/ratchet & long pipe extension
works well when you briefly activate the starter. The V8 is 28mm, not sure
what the 4k is. I normally rest the pipe on one of the frame arms or ground.
Sounds scary, is scary, but works every time you don't have a tool or
impact.
It is important to note the timing belt should be intact or briefly
reinstalled if you try this procedure.

I hate to do this here, but I'm getting desperate. The last thing I need to
do on my '84 4kq before I can put it all together is the timing belt.
Unfortunately the only way to get the crank bolt off is by holding the crank
still with special tool 2084. I've only found a couple places selling one
though, and they want around $100 for it. The Audifans website used to have
a write up on how to build a tool that will work, but not only is that part
of the site down right now, it also didn't show the tool in action, so I was
never clear on how to use it.
Anyway, would anyone on the list happen to have an Audi 2084 tool they'd be
willing to loan me?
Thanks,
Seamus
