[V8] You never know...

So I was fueling up for the second time today (only throw in $20 at a time
lately) and noticed a hybrid Q5 or Q7 on the other side of the pump with
manufacturer plates. 30ish guy with his wife and kid.

Struck up a conversation about the hybrid and he explains it has a 360v
battery and 4cyl 2 liter turbo (basically performance of the six and
efficiancy if the four) and he asks, "5000?"
"No, V8 5 speed"
"Ah, D1. Don't see many of those around." Ha, he knew (as an Audi/VW
engineer -- I'm guessing).

We both agreed diesels were better than hybrids :-)
