[V8] Hybrid Q5 or Q7 Diesels on the other side ...

Hi All -
It should be noted that much of the Diesel emissions quality
here, has been gained through legislative efforts in reducing
sulfur contents.
These efforts change the yield quotient from a barrel of oil though.
Where Diesel refining/cracking once yielded more gallons, per
barrel than gasoline, now yields less, due to additional refining.
To the end consumer, it still has a BTU advantage. But
one does pay more for that at the dealership and the pump.
Hopefully you don't have to drive further to find it too, so do
your own math carefully!
And Hybrids of course are just an interim technological patch
until lagging investments in the sciences can get us all up to
speed on something else. Until then hopefully we will all be
traveling further on less, more greenly...
Best,
~Ed
