Took my 93 Audi V8 to the local car show last night. It was one of the few unique cars there, except for the Lamborghini baritone (?) Most of the cars were 50,60 and 70’s North American stuff. One interesting car I saw was the 1974 Bricklin SV-1 Canadian made by DeLorean . .. it looked great.
While I was there I got talking to a guy who turned up with a 80 something BMW 635i. He works for the German space agency, but it working in Canada right now. He came over to have a look at my car and was impressed and told me how rare these cars are in Germany now. The lowest retail he has seen these cars go for is 1500-2000 USD in Germany, but said now that the Audi V8s are fetching (3-6k) a lot more as they become rarer.
I had to leave before the show was over and I heard a lot of people say,"what is that?" as I drove out (big smile).
