Hey Ed, I didn't drain the pan, I just lost 2 quarts from the cooler  
lines while I did the belt.....Since I did the hydraulic hoses/engine  
oil..I'm just trying to limit my oil footprint at this point.  I  
dropped the tranny pan/filter in 05(10K ago), and just wanted to  
refill and am 2 quarts shy(unless I just coffee filter that fluid  
that's just slightly darker which I'm leaning to do....just wanted to  
know what people are running in the tranny these days....This Tranny  
was replaced under extended warranty @ 45K('97?), so it's just broken  
in, and want to be kind to it, and will probably do a flush once it's  
back on the road......Sincerely, Tom
