This is all on my mazda miata actually. I have two more ongoing projects
on a ford escort and my sisters van swapping in hir projectors as well.

This is pretty well possible on any headlight out there (including old
fashioned sealed beams) with varying levels of difficulty. My oem mazda
headlights already had projectors in them, so I didn't need to make a
shroud and I could sort of reuse the original projecotr mounts. A lot of
cutting and such was required to use the original mounts.

On a headlight such as my escort or the v8 the two main areas to overcome
are mounting the projectors and fitting up a shroud. Its not difficult,
but basically you make a mount that keeps the projector level, and you find
a way to set it up in the housing that keeps it level. Then you mount the
shroud to keep everything clean looking.

Hidplanet.com has lots of writeups or google will help you too. Pretty
much all models have a similar method. The only thing that differs is how
much room you have to support varying projectors. Rx430 or s2000
projectors are amazing low beam units. E55 are decent bixenon units, which
I run with clear lenses and color modding. The lots of blue you see in my
cutoff.

Here is my hid retro album and a better shot of my cutoff. They aren't
adjusted right in this picture yet.
