[V8] Climate control head

Hey, well I'm trying to help diagnose the heater problems on the '93  
Pearl car that I sold a few years ago.  Last time I checked the  
codes, it said Heater flap motor, and that got replaced, and still no  
go.  Heater worked fine when manually moving the lever when the motor  
was removed.  Since it's got the newer style CC head, just wondering  
if anyone knows if the older style would work(have a spare), or if  
it's got to be the newer style?  Gonna look at it later today, just  
wanted to check on this, as it's sunny and not raining, and could  
yank the CC out of the parts car, but wanted to save the trouble, if  
it won't work....Thanks Tom
