[V8] oil leak

The V8-engines in the V8, S4 and S6 are prone to leakage from different
areas.
The problem is less likely to happen on the 3.6 V8 due to the oil channels
leading up to the heads being placed further into the block itself.
Crankshaft (front and especially rear), camshaft seals can leak although not
that common, valve cover gaskets and cylinder head gaskets.
If you have replaced both cylinder head gaskets and you did get the cylinder
heads checked for warpage - and maybe even machined - at the same time,
and after a short period of time the engine still starts to leak oil from:
- the back of the left cylinder head (drivers side)
- front of the right cylinder head, possibly down on the alternator and into
the timing belt area
If this happens you're looking at a warped engine block.
The only way to fix it is
a) new engine
b) fix what you've got.
Either way it is expensive.
