Hey yall, I went to the dealer today out of curiosity to see if the 5-
speed and the parts car had all their recall stuff done before. I
learned that the parts car never had it's airbag sensor module
recalled. If it entailed a free new airbag(not) I'd go for it, and
chuckle as the tech get's in the bucking/smoking/cracked windshield/
headliner lapping at his neck car to pull it in the garage......Looks
like a car that should have a good airbag.....

The other thing that came up was that apparently some of the V8's
actually had a rear speaker amp recall(didn't know that). What he
told me was that 91-92 cars with the 10th-11th digits in the VIN that
are MN or NN were available for a "possible" recall. Further note
was that they'd verify specific amp #'s, so could be a waste of
time. I'm bummed as the 5-speed has the new awsome Alpine system in
it, but the Lago car '90 has the Bose, with 4 rebuilt amps. Have a
few set's of bad one's I could have put in for the test for one of
you, but not the right year.

I went in there to see if the Cruise control bushing/rod had been
done on either, as someone was inquiring about that. I asked my
favorite parts gal to look them up, and the bushing was $3.61, and
the rod was.........$94.35.....She even got a laugh out of that.
Anyway, thought I'd pass on the info on those amps for any 91-92
owners. Tom
