[V8] AllRoad

I have often thought the AllRoad looks like a neat car to own, and I  
spent some time cruising the ads.
However, if you go and read some of the consumer reviews/experiences  
on say, Edmunds.com it sounds like a horror story.
Now I'm sure some of those accounts are from owners who only use the  
dealer, but nevertheless, you'd really have to fall in love in a big  
way to ignore the maintenance problems.
I'd be happy for an AllRoad owner to prove me wrong, so I could go  
look again!  :)
