Scott,
The point is that one post like Ron's really is not all that flagrant.
I'm sure the list admin (who is a very fair person) would let any involved
parties know when they step out of line, so frankly it's not your job to
police this list - especially - with the level of negativity you often post
with IMHO.
Comments about spam and skid marks, ect are nothing more than plain and
simple bad manners.
I stand by what I stated to you directly before - the old maxim :
If you do not have something nice to say, do not say anything at all.
Cheers,
-Jack
P.S. If you see a post from someone you would prefer to not see a post
from, hit the delete key, - very simple - and no-one's feelings get hurt.

Respectfully, maybe one forgets after a few years, to look at the
guidelines for posting. They have been around quite a while... Just because a
list is quietly un-spammed the majority of the time, crossing over the
"Marketplace line", really has no regard for your 'opinion'. I appreciate you
would like the Audifans FS policy to 'not be' black and white, but it is?

I'm selling my car! Can I post to a list about it?
No.
Why? Here's a few reasons.
    * most of the list membership(s) are spread across the US, if not the
world. Most people aren't even geographically close to you.
    * most of the list membership isn't looking for a car to buy.
    * we have a very nice _Marketplace_
(http://www.audifans.com/marketplace/) where you can post your car for sale(further, new postings are sent
automatically to a mailing list people can subscribe to.)

Thanks for your continued consideration of others that find these
guidelines very clear. Pardon my 6 year old bratty mind, catching such a basic
violation of forum abuse.

Venomously yours

Respectfully, I quite enjoyed the video, so did my co-workers who have
never heard a V8 on full tilt - even if it is part of a FS listing.
With such a small list and very infrequent posts, the amount of traffic is
really not an issue or spam IMHO.
It is easy enough to just hit the delete key, than act like a bratty 6
year old with your replies. Last I heard you are not the list admin.
Scott you need to give your venom spitting a break on this list, PLEASE!
Jack

With all due respect, one can overlook a single FS pop on the forum from a
longtime lister - the second spam starts lookin like a skid mark. If
everyone selling something on Audifans marketplace, also posted the FS on the
forums, it loses discussion as the primary objective of the forums. Put the
ad up on Marketplace, and use the edit function to add whatever you feel
helps sell the car.

Thanks for the consideration
