I stock pile my parts to and have a few sources of used parts for my Audi V8. I remember a couple of years ago my 10 disc CD player went kaput. I looked around and found a few in the US and nothing and then a guy on the audi list sent me a note saying he had one !!! So I asked him how much ? he said nothing, just shipping ?? Wow , what wow . So I received the part and it has worked great ever since. So I asked him if he needed anything and he did need some small bits and pieces so I sent them to him. I thought it was so cool that someone had taking the time to do this for a complete stranger. ( A V8 Stranger :-) So in the last couple of months someone was looking for a specific part and I told him I had one, How much he asked ... just pay for the shipping .... and that my friends is how it should work. I'm not saying lets have a free swap meet or anything like that, but if you feel generous to help someone out go for it. For the most part on this list there are three categories of listers 1) those who need Help and are appreciative 2) those who are willing to take the time to write a helpful email 3) and those who will never get along with the others in the sand box. oh and one more 4) Roger, and what would the V8 site be without Roger's wonderful stories of life & cars ha ha.
