nope - the narrowest width of any stock wheel on the V8 was 7" - In 
Europe,  winter tires came on  7x15 steel wheels and 195/65/15 winter 
tires (offset 35). Part number 441601025N.
Still driving 195s as winter tires - they look a bit lonely in those 
wide wheel wells but then, who cares about looks in the snow, and they 
are cheap and there's a great selection.
There's a lot of people here who use 7" C4 alloy wheels on the V8 for 
winter use now, too.
