In the past, I have been able to get a couple of codes over the phone
through Stammler Audi in Boulder, CO. I needed the serial number from the
radio and the VIN from the car.

Only in 2001 and newer ones are the codes remembered. On that car, it will
loose it's memory. Which is better than me, I've lost my mind!!
If you pull the radio out, you may find the sticker on it with the code. If
not, you will have to write down the # on the radio and take it to the local
dealer for the code.
