93 V8Q 12.5 L/100 average over the summer my son driving.
= 18.82 MPG

I'm in a bit of a fuel race with the new 2012 2.0L Focus we got. It's
returning 7.1 L/100 mixed driving (small town/rural so not much city)

So I cranked the "tyre" pressures to 50 PSI both on the V8 since I went back
to the stock rims for winter...and the '93 928GTS.
Currently driving the 928GTS I've got 10.5 L/100 km rural/mountainous
highway. = 22.4 MPG Lots of "N" coasting downhill at every opportunity.
Also switch to N during stoplights etc. Not bad for the 5.4 L monster!!

Full tire pressure (50-52 PSI) reduces rolling resistance a lot, but also
the contact patch a bit. harder ride of course.
Pull everything out of the car to reduce weight as much as possible.

Getting new Michelins Pilot sport tyres on the Volvo V70R this week, it is
averaging 24 mpg or 9.8L/100 km blown 5 cyl 2.5 L 300 HP.
Will get the tire shop to go to max pressure there too, they are using
nitrogen. Hope to get that to 25 mpg.
