[V8] Intermittent engine shut off

yJust a little note there is one more sensor other than the timing or reference sensor. The speedo sensor, works on the same principal as the timing or reference sensor. This is found inboard of the front Axel on the trans .
 
I had one a few years ago that went and caused the same symptoms. I've never heard of anyone else having a problem with their speedo sensor.
