[V8] Intermittent engine shut off

Mine failed a few years ago.  I can't imagine how it could cause a stall
but maybe the automatics are different. The failure was typical of others
on the list - the speedo started to drop to zero now and then - and it
seemed like a whack on the dash brought it back.
