... from what I see the first message was posted yesterday ... not sure
where the "go on for days and weeks at a time" comes from.  

No one is forcing anyone to receive messages from this group ... if you find
the signal to noise ratio to be unacceptable you can set your account so
that e-mail is not sent to your address and you can check what is posted via
the archives.  

I don't know how much money Dan receives from or puts into this service, but
I do know that there is no advertising ... I know that has value for me.  To
me the S/N ratio has been acceptable ... until I read this message ...

This is the same thing that I got a bunch of crap for saying before. I just
think that if it goes on for more than a couple of days then the e-mail
address should be removed by a moderator until the issue resolved. I know
hijacks happen, but it's not hard to fix so there's no reason it should go
on for days and weeks at a time.
