[V8] major issue today with new v8

Could they have possibly overfilled the oil?  The original manual  
say's 10.2 quarts or something like that, but they amended that later  
to read 9.5 or so.  Maybe he "topped" it off for you.  If it's too  
full, it gets sucked out that rear breather on the drivers head(only  
during hard acceleration/steep hills).  I had a jiffylube place  
change the oil in Utah on a roadtrip, and it blew enough oil out to  
drip out of the cats(no dripping balls of fire in my case), but they  
definatly overfilIed it....I run the 5-speed around 9 quarts or to  
the fill line on the dipstick....If I add more, it eats it down to  
the fill line, then stops eating it.  I really hope it's something  
this simple Chris, as your probably about ready to give up....
If that injector is stuck open, you should smell gas in your  
oil.....Not sure if the injector "buzz" test would help figure that  
out or not, and while I've never done it, it's part of the test  
sequence.  When I parted out the Grey car, I dropped not 1 but 2  
small bolts that I could never find......when I cut the exhaust in  
half(welded 1 piece with Magnaflo cats/center muffler deleted), they  
came rolling out when I went to load it in the truck.....Ha.  Good
