[V8] Power Out to Rear Windows

On the Type 44/D2 V8s, the wires in the boot going from the driver's
door into the door jamb will break over time. I suspect your '98 (A8?)
may be old enough to experience similar problems.

Pry back the boot and look for frayed or broken wires. That'd be the
first place I'd look.
