I've spent a bunch of time trying to figure out how to make a simple
cheap pulley system to replace the AC pump as I/many live in an area
where you simply don't need AC, and I'd love the best mileage I can
get and have no interest in spending large money on AC.. Now that
i've got one in my hand, I'm closer to that goal....
The parts car had totally leaked out(from where, nobody know's), but
the other 3 still have working AC and will keep it till it goes,
then I have no interest in spending BIG money on something I can live
without. All 80's Saabs have leaked out at this point. If you want
to buy AC parts, let me know,I saved the whole system(where was the
leak anyway?) Love to sell it to you. Unless you do the whole
system, you can have a bad oring somewhere, so go big if you need
it. ..I spent a large chunk of money years ago trying to get the old
saab's AC working, and at this point in my life, that's just money
overboard, unless you live in the South. AFAIK the fitting is on the
passenger side on that aluminum tube with the sensor under that
plastic cap and is a standard/not Prezza/ bike fitting.....
I briefly lived in Death Valley and if it's 105 outside, just open
the windows, as it's still gonna be 105 when you stop.......
I've got AC parts galsore.....Tom
