[V8] Flashers

It sounds to me that the switch module has broken ... if you have the poorly
designed one the housing breaks.  Fix it RIGHT NOW if you can.  It is not
particularly difficult or expensive to replace the switch module, but when the
switch module breaks it tweaks the alignment of the shaft in the column lock,
which causes the column lock to break.  This is not an easy or inexpensive
repair ... and you'll end up needing two keys for the car ... one for the doors,
trunk & glove box and one for the ignition ... as I now have for #2 ...

I have pictures of the properly designed switch module and the faulty one on my
laptop ... when I have a chance I'll fire it up and see if I can find a place to
post them ..

I shall first check the relay. but I indeed have a problem with the ignition
switch (it no longer turns to the right and then has its spring return the key
to the proper "run" position.  It's been this way for 6-9 months, but the
blinker problem just started two weeks ago.

I'm assuming that replacing the ignition switch part itself is quite expensive
andalso several hours of shop time.  Am I wrong on this?

Lastly, do you recall where the relay is located?

Thanks,

Brad
