[V8] problems in ignition assy?

Sounds like the ignition switch, which is relatively easy to change.
Just keep you fingers crossed it's not the tumbler assembly which tends
to break the rear tab off.
I figured out a way to change it in less than the normal 6 or 8 hours it
usually takes. I posted the details to the list a long time ago, it
involves a lock pick iron and cutting off the black collar. If you want
to try it and can't find it in the archives, I can re post it.
Less likely than the switch, but you may have a bad connection at the
starter, or a bad starter. Never had this happen on an Audi, but on
other brands.
