I don't exactly know why there is so much discussion about keeping the regulator warm, just the fact that you have antifreeze flowing during start up and a bit of fuel pressure even in bitter cold temps kept my supercharged chevy pickup running even at 20 degrees below. At one point I did put a heated dip stick so the oil would flow. I have problems with forklifts with no heater hoses, but then you just put the regulator with a electric plate in it.  On the price of fuel, I had heard that Florida was exspensive, maybe he could try Cng instead. P
