[V8] NAC: trip to Westchester Co. NY

Hello All,
 
My wife wants to visit her parents in Westchester county (Larchmont). Mid May(?) After our last visit we are NOT staying with them....
I'm looking online and finding a few hotels/motel in the area. 
 
Justy wondering if anyone in the area knows of any better places, different ideas of where to stay. We would like to be within an hours drive of there.
Anyone here have a Vacation rental on LI? Also looking to rent a car.
