Glad it's running, but sorry to hear aobut this. I'd recommend getting some 
brake parts cleaner from Orielly (their house brand, and it does have 
tolulene in it) and run it through the intake system. It's what I mostly use 
for intake system cleanings with my BG intake cleaner tool. On the later FSI 
engines I use the BG cleaner, but all the early cars (including my own) I 
use the brake parts cleaner. Just be careful, it WILL eat the paint of 
nearly anything.
