Hey Steve that is a great idea one I'm pondering :-) what is the best way to release the fuel pressure before I change them out? Yes I will do it with a cold engine to eliminate fire potential. I changed the spark plug and wire to eliminate that the spark isn't the problem.(I started the car and put a spare spark on the end of the l sp wire and got a spark) Didn't get a chance to do a compression test yet as my compression tester is still at the store!! When I did my t belt I replaced all the gaskets + the head gaskets. The 4.2s likes to leak oil at the back of the block ... Sure hope it isn't a head gasket!! Cheers sD

Good point Steve, if you aren't sparking on that cylinder, it should
be wet......Tom
