[V8] Worth Investing in Paint Job?

As Kent mentioned, $3k is not a great paint job these days, think of a
number closer to 5 ;-)
When you say "fading", what do you mean? Is the clear coat peeling, or is it
just not shiny anymore? If it's not shiny, there are plenty of detail shops
that can rejuvinate it for a lot less the $3K.
I still have one with nearly perfect original pearl paint, but most of the
rest of the car is used up :( The engine is going into another Audi.
