Same happened to me, and it was nightmare. Check the fuel pressure
regulator, pull the vacuum line off it, there should be no gas in the
line, suck on it or use a might vac. Crank the engine over a little by
hand, then try and start it. If the starter catches, it may be worse
case scenario here, your Fuel Pressure Regulator may have been the
culprit, and it took out some flywheel teeth. The Alfred E Neuman
syndrome. BTDT get the Tshirt and a flywheel from fellow lister Steve
Buckholz.
