[V8] spring length

The rear end of this car is the only part I have never touched. Never even
checked the diff oil. I am sure all parts - including brake rotors and
pads are OEM. I am at ~175K miles now.
I would probably just leave it alone except that one shock has literally
blown out and so it is squeaky.
It would be hard to "over do it" on raising too much - but I am not
looking for a dragster either.
I even toyed with the idea of air bladders so I could keep basically the
stock ride but lift up the back for the driveway.  A combination of too
expensive, not available, and too much work to pump up the suspension
several times a day convinced me to just get bigger springs.

You have to see my driveway to believe it but very few cars can get up it
in one piece.  Lots of trucks also scrape - usually because of the hitch.
I had a plumbers van get stuck there once because the driver decided to
really give it some gas - and he ended up digging his hitch into the soft
pavement - till he hit the cement gutter.

On replacement shocks, I assumed that OEM was gas pressurized. If they are
not then I will get some that are. Probably the Boge.  I am pretty sure
that is what I put on the front a few years ago.
