[V8] Windshield crack 8 inches.

I'll second this. Worked for a glass place for a year, when they come from 
the edge there is nothing you can do. If it's filled, it will immediately 
flex and re-open. Time for a replacement.

I did once fill a long crack (about 12in) but it was in the center of the 
W/S. Lasted about 8 months, still was looking good. However, he had another 
crack from the edge, time to replace. They don't use salt in MT, only gravel 
and sand. Does not rust cars, but sure takes a toll on the front paint 
surfaces and glass/headlights.
