Its sounds like (no pun intend) you might have a motor or transmission mount that is giving out? Have you checked, cheers superdave

There is/was a dipstick for those transmissions. I seem to recall they
were NLA many years ago. The part number was 018321431D. I checked
Audi USA parts dot com and got a "New" part number with a "K" suffix
instead of the "D" and a description of "PLUG" so I presume that means
you can only get the plug that goes in the top of the fill tube.
You can fill the tranny to the appropriate level by removing the plug in
the bottom and draining out whatever is in there now (should be almost a
gallon) and then refilling with a gallon of new. Probably a good idea
to measure whatever comes out. Transmission holds four gallons, but
only a gallon gets to the pan. The shadetree "flush" was to do that
draining/refilling four times with driving enough to get the fluid up to
operating temperature between each draining.

That clunking i get when accelerating from underneath my car only happens when the car is first started and after its warmed up it is barely noticeable. If it were the drive shaft banging against my exhaust it would do it all the time not just when cold. It literally feels like something is banging on the floor board underneath my drivers seat when i get on it. Its more like a rattle. Im thinking a pressure plate which is banging around? i really dont know. Remember i had this engine put in about 5 months ago and the sound just recently started. Im stumped.
