Ed....4 on the road....you are definatly winning/have been winning  
that title for awhile.  That's a taunt to see if there's any other  
person somewhere out there with 5!  HA.  I've got 2 "on the road",  
currently with no real intention of going bigger, with the 5-speed  
also being sidelined currently with the same left rack mount  
problem.  I fab'd a plate to support that mount, and gave the  
template to someone on this list(don't recall) who needs to hear  
this.  Anyway, in my case what happened was that all the load went to  
the wimpy tack welds on that kidney shaped mount, and now it's pulled  
loose entirely from the wheelwell.  Plate might have worked fine if  
I'd have welded that mount to the wheelwell....Need to chat about  
that/see whatyou come up with.
Is the 5-speed ECU different?  I've always assumed so, but if not,  
swap ECU(got no spare 5-speed ECU if it indeed is different)  Even  
though you removed coolant sensor connector, try a new one.....That  
fixed my 5-speeds rich running condition and it's $15 for new, you've  
got a good used probably.  Parts car did the exact same  
thing,....click/super rich.....it was that coolant sensor.  Brand new  
one on that motor in garage if needed......Happy new year
