For value, I always find edmunds to have the closest valuations to
"market," especially as they break it between dealer and private party:

As to the car itself, I have little personal experience but I have driven
one and it was fun and pleasant, though not soul-stirring.  Our neighbors
had one; the car was dealer-purchased (certified used, not new), as
faultless a used car as you could find.  The timing belt let go one month
out of warranty 13 months later, and more to the point, with only 45k on
the car.  The car was babied and driven cautiously by his wife.  He had a
very expensive driveway ornament at that point (this was c. 2004/5).
