While I don't have personal experience with Rev, I have used a similar
product for Android called Torque. Torque was quite good for pulling
real time data from OBDII, fault codes, etc. Rev has been around a
while and is probably your best bet for iPhone. Their page also has
recommendations for the hardware component as well.

"You can check out any time, but you can never leave..."
And so it is with being a member of the V8 list.
Can anyone recommend a bluetooth OBDII device that plugs into an Audi's port
and transmits the data to an iPhone 5? I see these on the internet for
$20-30 each, but don't know where to get the ap for my iPhone.
One frequently seen product is the ELM 327 --

Can someone recommend a unit that you have first-hand experience with? I
want to use it to pull codes, reset the Check Engine light, etc. If these
inexpensive bluetooth devices are a waste of time and money, please
recommend a more expensive "all in one" hardwired unit like you find at Pep
Buys, NAPA, O'Reilly, etc.
Thanks,
Brad
