[V8] Cool V8 experience yesterday. (also some manual vs. auto debate related stuff!)

I pulled up to a local shop called JSport Autowerks yesterday. The first
thing I saw was a pearl V8 out front. Then I noticed a silver V8 inside the
shop. It turns out they both belong to the same person: an old guy who is
about 80 who has a bunch of V8's all over the country. Whenever he has to
travel he already has a V8 there waiting for him.

Whenever he buys a V8 with an automatic he immediately converts it to
manual. The silver car inside the shop had a 5spd conversion and the pearl
outside had a 4.2L and 6spd conversion!

The best parts of the story is that when the pearl car was having trouble
he insisted that the guy from JSport fly all the way to W. Virginia to pick
up the car and drive it back to Bellingham, WA to work on it. It broke down
for numerous reasons (including bad crank sensor and the clutch pedal
dropping to the floor) on the way back across the country, but he finally
got it here.
