[V8] '93 V8 Q - electric cooling fan stopped working

Posing the question about the secondary electric cooling (A/C) fan on '93 V8Q. Car has 176,000 miles but in excellent condition. Electric cooling fan suddenly stopped working today (90 F - here in DC today). A/C was working but noticed the temp gauge rising out of the normal range. So checked and the fan was not operating. Checked fuses - no issues. Any advice on possible causes, diagnostic checks and/or solutions?
