[V8] Pentosin crisis

Hey Roger, if it's been awhile/never since the system was "flushed",  
then buying a bucket of something is the way to go, since you are  
going to waste many quarts.  When you see what continues to come out  
while still putting in clear fluid while you turn the steering wheel,  
you'll feel good.   I've used the Mobil DTE 13M(or it's new name DTE  
10-Excel-32) for the last 6-8 yrs and the last bucket(last summer?)  
was $85/5 gallons.  That's $4.25/quart, and it will take 4-6 quarts  
to flush/fill.  It's physically identical to Pentosin 11s, except for  
a slightly higher flash point, and just a decimal point thicker.   
Only thing wrong is that it's clear, and is hard to see the line on  
the reservoir till it gets a little color.    Find a fluids  
wholesaler in your neck of the woods, and you've got fluid for both  
you and your wifes car for eternity unless either develops a bad  
leak, then it's only $4.25/quart till you fix it.  Nothing wrong with  
Synthetic ATF either and can mix with Pentosin...Glad there's no real  
crisis....Tom
