I'll second the anti-lowering.  When I lived in snow country, I  
seriously wanted to lift the Lago car(since my ex's dad who gave me  
the Lago replaced it with an Allroad and that got me thinking).  Last  
thing in the world I want is lower.  I can barely get my moderatly  
low profile old school jack under there.   Look under ANY V8 and you  
can see somewhere under there that had  a clearance issue on some  
road/parking lot.  If someone wanted to lower it, I'd replace the  
belly pan with something made of metal.....On the same note, there  
was a kid today @ Trader Joe's by my house mopping up a huge mess  
when his lowered WRX hit something on the way in, and peeled one of  
his cooler hoses.....Ha  Good thing it wasn't a V8 as he'd be looking  
for some harder to find hoses.  On a similar note, I was in eastern  
Utah once and saw at the same stop sign a huge monster truck with the  
bumper sticker that said "Raise the Lowered".....and next to him was  
a guy in a Honda with a sticker that said "Praise the  
Lowered".....I'm not making that up, and really wish I had a pic of  
that, as it was priceless...Tom
