[V8] gearbox swap questions (not what you might think)

Before you go too crazy, you might have a close look at your ignition
system - specifically the distributor caps. If they have the black covers
on them, remove them. I have had them arc through these covers twice now
and it is not easy to notice - except that mileage and performance seem to
be non-optimal - sometimes. The covers provide no real value.
