is the rpm tach needle blipping or bouncing when you crank it?

Have you replaced the fuel pump relay? Check the fuse of course too. You can 
measure 12v at the ignition coil(s) as a test. The relay supplies voltage to 
the pump and coils. It is possible however to measure good at one location 
but not another due to the relay having multiple contacts internally.
