They do not work on the newer cars. The rears on your car are 4-wire, so in
theory they will work. However, something in the heater resistance or
current draw is different. I've tried them, and they throw a heater code
circuit malfunction, which then turns on the CEL.
Get either the 4-wire universal ones designed with your application in mind,
or the direct plug in ones. BTW, the fronts on your car are wide band,
either 5 or six wire. Don't recall exaclty how many wires off the top of my
head.
I would have replaced the O2's first, as they can be bad and cause false
readings that show a bad cat (mostly the rears, bad fronts also show in poor
running/fule milage). Either way, I'd highly recommend replacing them with
the cats.
