[V8] ... reality check

Obviously, the V8 is losing ground. Key members no longer own V8s and
Audi has made ownership very difficult by continuously eliminating
necessary parts, unlike Mercedes. Audi gave me an outrageous
runaround when I wanted to buy a front CV joint. Keith told me it
`was the same one in late model 100s. Audi must want to own the last
V8 themselves.
There are parts that should be stripped before the cars are junked.
Distributors, certain hydraulic lines, ~I need yellow lens covers ...
what else is crucial?
We need a List of Items that shouldn't be junked, even for tax
deductions (no one would ever know if a few parts were not there).
Want To Buy Another, maybe not, but we need the key parts and the
only obstacle is coming up with a price. We should help the list
survivors complete their quest, until the last V8 goes down, Bob
