[V8] IC lit up like a Christmas tree...and it's January!

It's probably just low battery voltage....I've seen the dash go wierd 
(not quite as fully as yours) when the battery was showing 11V.  When  
you get the car started, verify that it's charging.  If so, have  
someone load test battery.  I've got 3 battery's.  7yo Diehard tests  
out @ 850CCA.  9yo Interstate that's currently in a friend's 
(unemployed single mother) 240D starts the car daily.  The 4yo Napa  
that was in the 5-speed has a bad cell, and wouldn't hold a charge  
anymore.  I went to the battery recycle guy and got a 3yo no name  
with fresh juice for $20, and it tests out @ 950CCA....Ha.
If it's not charging, and the belt is tight, I'd throw a new Voltage  
Reg/brush kit in the alternator for $30.  Not sure if it was on the  
V8 or the Saab, but I did it inplace without having to remove the  
Alternator.  Or, you warmed it up, and you've got a rat chewing on  
the back of the IC....Good luck...Tom
