[V8] meandering thoughts on a mild Saturday

I have purchased two A6 3.0 Avants, since my V8 '93 accident. I just
had the '02 declared a total by Nationwide because a deer was chased
out of the woods by the DOT mowers, at 12 noon! The aluminum hood has
been replaced and the rest of the damages were limited to an AC
condensor and some plastic surrounding the radiator. It is an A6
bargain for sale, directly, off the list. So, I shopped for another
A6 3.0 Avant on Ebay and I learned a lot!

Paypal no longer protects car transactions. I met a creep called
Autoxcar on Ebay that preys on this little known fact. As another
said, "I was bidding on a vehicle on Ebay and followed the directions
by calling the seller before bidding. Chris Carey was that person. He
offered to cancel the auction and sell the vehicle to me at a set
price. He then sent me a Paypal agreement from Carey Motors, which
was not the name of the business that was selling the vehicle. I
googled Chris Carey and found some bad reviews. So I called him and
asked him about it and it was then that he showed his true colors and
became an abusive and rude person. I would recommend steering clear
of this person." Don't let a Seller send you a Paypal invoice. That
takes you Off-Ebay. Same goes for Craigslist cars, you could get a
good one, but there is no feedback.

I did get a good car, an '04 A6 Avant and I would recommend looking
at the non-Allroad 3.0s. If anyone wants a load of V8 parts, either
'90-'91 or '92-93 let me know directly. I will still try to get one
of my three V8s back on the road. Bob
