I’ve been eyeing Mercedes 560SECs.  Designed and built when cost was no object, when Mercedes built the best car they new how without the bean counters and marketers saying, No, you have to meet this price point.  As with an old Audi, you have to choose wisely to avoid a money pit, and even then, maintenance will be expensive.
