Oh, and a friend has an original coin op Asteroids game that is still functioning perfect since 1980 or so when it was built.  If I still had my original Atari Pong game('76? that my mother threw out....ouch), my guess is it also would be functioning just fine also.  Only reason I removed IC from old Saab's was to replace Speedo Gear...never had an electrical IC issue.  Just want to cut out the beeper from board on 5-speed and live with that....Hate the squaking...
