[V8] shudder under acceleration

Good idea, but this is not a noise but a physical shudder as though
something is not gripping something properly, or perhaps a clutch is
slipping. My wrench said, when I first described it, that it could be
an axle shaft and so long as there was no clicking or other noise,
something not too serious....yet. But this is NOT a half shaft
failing....I have heard that before. This is an actual shudder, as
though a clutch is slipping somewhere and I am concerned it may mean a
Torsen rebuild is in my future. I've NEVER heard of it though. Once
going forward normally, the car accelerates fine under any load I want
to put on it (foot flat to the floor, etc). But just when turning
corners and once, after turning onto the steep hill where Route 131
meets Route7, the shudder was clear. I backed off the throttle and it
went away, so i tis related to hard acceleration with the car not level
or hard acceleration going up a steep hill at low initial speed.
